We acknowledge the unpredictable and challenging times the global community is facing and we hope you and your family are safe.

The latest Coronavirus data and advices from Authorities such ECDC, WHO and Governments do not allow us to safely organize 36th FIMS congress in September this year.

We are officially announcing the postponement of the 36th FIMS congress to September 23rd-26th 2021, at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens.

This decision was unfortunately imposed on us by the current COVID-19 pandemic. We kindly ask you to please reserve the new meeting dates in your calendar.

Meanwhile, we will continue with the same enthusiasm to deliver a high quality scientific program.

With regards to the registration fee, kindly note, that it will automatically be transferred.

However, in case you want to cancel your registration and claim the registration fee back, we can proceed with the refund of your registration fee minus 25€ (Euros) for administration fees and bank charges.

Following our previous messages committing to keep you informed of changes, the Association of Pumonologists of Greece and the Respiratory Medicine Department of the University of Ioannina, Greece would like to share with you the most recent updates on What is New in Respiratory Medicine. The congress will take place as scheduled on September 18-20, 2020 with on site participation (hotel Du lac, Ioannina – Greece)  and on line attendance.

In order to accommodate the participation of our International Invited Faculty and even some of our colleagues from Greece we decided to make this congress also LIVE broadcasted and possible for On-Site attendance.

We want to meet our educational needs of our colleagues while also respecting their health, safety and reasonable ability to attend in-person so we will make every effort to make this hybrid event scientifically rewarding and memorable to all of us.

Ioannina – Greece is preparing more than ever to ensure a safe and healthy environment and in the same time an unforgettable travel experience that we have all missed!
