Preceptorship – Σεμινάριο με θέμα «Καρδιο-Ογκολογία» – Ο καρκίνος αποτελεί μαζί με τα καρδιαγγειακά νοσήματα την κύρια αιτία θανάτου στον Δυτικό Κόσμο και στη χώρας μας. Η συνεχώς αυξανόμενη πολυπλοκότητα των θεραπειών του καρκίνου αλλά και η συνεχώς βελτιούμενη επιβίωση των καρκινοπαθών έχει φέρει στην επιφάνεια τα πολλαπλά καρδιολογικά προβλήματα που αυτοί οι ασθενείς αντιμετωπίζουν συχνά, εξαιτίας της καρδιοτοξικότητας των ογκολογικών θεραπειών αλλά και της αλληλεπίδρασης της καρδιάς με τον καρκίνο. Έτσι, η Καρδιο-Ογκολογία έχει αναδειχθεί σήμερα ως τον πλέον δυναμικό και αναπτυσσόμενο τομέα της Καρδιολογίας.
Η καρδιολογική ενασχόληση με τον ογκολογικό ασθενή απαιτεί ειδικές γνώσεις για τον καρκίνο και τη θεραπεία του, το προφίλ καρδιοτοξικότητας της κάθε ογκολογικής θεραπείας, την αντιμετώπιση των διαφόρων μορφών καρδιοτοξικότητας αλλά και τη συνολική καρδιαγγειακή διαχείριση του ογκολογικού ασθενούς πριν, κατά τη διάρκεια και μετά τη θεραπεία του καρκίνου. Το Σεμινάριο Preceptorship: «Καρδιο-Ογκολογία» έχει ως στόχο να παράσχει αυτές τις ειδικές γνώσεις στον επαγγελματία υγείας που σκοπεύει να ασχοληθεί με τον τομέα της Καρδιο-Ογκολογία σε σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα, με τρόπο σύγχρονο και διαδραστικό από ειδικούς με μακρά εμπειρία στον τομέα και με παράλληλη πρακτική άσκηση.
Σας ενημερώνουμε για την διεξαγωγή του 16ου Συμποσίου Νευρολογίας της Ακαδημίας Νευροεπιστημών, που φέτος διεξάγεται από 19 έως 22 Μαΐου 2022 στην Κέρκυρα.
Επιπρόσθετα, μια ημέρα του Συμποσίου έχει εξασφαλισθεί για εργαστήρια (workshops),
με έκθεση σε κλινικά περιστατικά και πρακτική εκπαίδευση για απόκτηση δεξιοτήτων.

We are delighted to announce the organization of the 1st Congress on Minimally Invasive Surgery covering the entire spectrum of Orthopedic Pathology, which will be held from May 13th to 15th 2022, at Amphitheatre Interbalkan Medical Center, in Thessaloniki, organized by the 1st Orthopaedic Department of Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki
The aim of the Congress is the exchange of viewpoints by highly distinguished Orthopaedic Specialists from ten (10) different countries, such as England, Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium etc.
Characteristic feature of the Congress is the live participation of 25 invited colleagues from abroad who, along with a relatively small number of eminent Greek colleagues, will set up 11 round tables, exchange views and announce their conclusions regarding minimally invasive techniques in Orthopaedics.
Along with view exchange among Experts in Orthopedics, our wish is to offer a short escape of relaxation to the Organizers, to the Participants of the Scientific Program, as well as to those participants who will have the opportunity to attend the Congress with their physical presence in Thessaloniki.
The President’s ultimate goal is to promote the Orthopaedic Science and to establish the Congress as an institution for the future.
In compliance with the health protocols currently in force, the number of participants with physical presence will be limited. For this reason, we kindly ask for your timely registration and inform you that a strict list will be kept according to the order of priority of expressions of interest.

Greece, 11th-14th May 2022
Hello all ICODE members, associate members and friends!..
We are pleased to let you know that we are now planning our visit to Chios, Greece, in May 2022. We are particularly pleased to be able to let you know about this, given the long interval during which live meetings could not take place.
The scientific meeting is taking place on 13th and 14th May, and we hope to see as many there as possible. In addition, we would urge you to send in your abstracts (to the separate email address – [email protected] – please see full details in the attachment with this email). The exact scientific programme will be published before the meeting.
If you plan to attend the meeting, please fill in the attached registration form and return it to Mika Travel. Registration for the meeting is free.
Prior to the meeting, on 11th and 12th May, we are holding the first Graf Infant Hip ultrasound course specifically under the auspices of ICODE. We are grateful to the faculty members who have agreed to teach on this course, and we are looking forward to a good attendance of colleagues with backgrounds in Radiology, Sonography, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and other specialties. Indeed, some associate members and other colleagues receiving this email may be interested in attending the course – if so, please see the attached course programme. You may register by filling in the attached registration form and returning it to Mika Travel. Please note that the number of participants is limited to 35. If you are interested, you are advised to register quickly.
ACCOMMODATION: The meeting and the course will both take place in the Grecian Castle Hotel. Accommodation for people attending the course and/or the meeting is being organised in the Grecian Castle Hotel. While registering (for the course, the meeting, or both), please outline your accommodation requirements on the accommodation form attached, and return it to Mika Travel. You are advised to arrange your own travel to/from Chios – to help you, Mika Travel have provided us with a summary sheet outlining the flights which are operated into Chios (attached).
